Associate Professor Dr. Pisit Dhamvithee is a distinguished academic and expert in food science and innovation, playing a pivotal role in advancing Thailand’s innovation ecosystem across academia, administration, and entrepreneurship. With over two decades of experience in product development, consumer research, and food technology-based entrepreneurship, he has been instrumental in shaping national innovation through his service on advisory boards, his leadership in startup development programs, and his stewardship of the international graduate program in Food Innovation and Entrepreneurship. As the Director of the TED Fund at Srinakharinwirot University and Head of the international master’s program, Dr. Dhamvithee has bridged the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world business innovation. His contributions extend through textbooks, academic research, and international conferences, with research encompassing plant-based foods, alternative proteins, fruit and vegetable processing, and sustainable packaging. His achievements have earned him numerous national awards, recognizing him not only as a researcher and educator, but as an inspiration to a new generation of food innovators and entrepreneurs.
